I need a quote. How do I get one?
By default, purchasing products from CashSmart™ is a normal ‘add-to-cart’ operation ultimately leading to a checkout where the order is finalised and the transaction payment is made.
However, you might need to generate a quote for single or multiple products before you decide to make the purchase. The procedure to create quotations is virtually the same as purchasing, except for one difference: you don’t add items to the cart, you add them to a quote.
In order to do this, you need to log in or register a new account with CashSmart™. As soon as you do this and are logged in to your account, you will see that all product ‘add-to-cart‘ buttons will become ‘add-to-quote‘ buttons. Now you can continue through the products as if you were doing a normal purchase. The only difference is that the final checkout no longer processes a payment, but rather generates a quote based on the products you have added to your quote (cart).
When you now checkout, instead of making a payment you will receive an email containing the quote for the products you have selected. You will also have a record of that quotation in your account dashboard which you can review by logging back in at any time.
If you decide to purchase the products once a quote has been reviewed and/or approved, you can revisit the CashSmart™ online store and instead of logging in to your account, simply add the products to your cart and proceed to the checkout section where you can complete the order and make a payment.

Do I need to create an account to purchase?
No. You do not need to create an account in order to make a purchase. You will, however need to fill in your billing details – name, address, telephone etc when you check out for the purposes of invoicing and other documentation regarding your purchase. But there is no requirement to have an account prior to making a purchase.
